Biographical Information[edit]
Grant Neary has been a college coach.
He was a 1st Team All-State selection in High School and continued playing in college until multiple shoulder injuries and subsequent surgeries ended his playing career. He was a world and national champion powerlifter during his college years and beyond. He was assistant coach at Watchung Hills Regional High School in 2005-2006 and was at City College of New York as an assistant from 2008-2010. He was their head coach in 2011. He was assistant at Bloomfield College in 2012 and the New Jersey Institute of Technology from 2013-2018. He was head coach of McDaniel College in 2019-2020. In 2021 he was the associate head coach at Iona College. Neary began coaching at St. Peter's University as the Hitting Coach and Recruiting Coordinator in 2022 before being promoted to the head coach position in the summer of 2022.
