Biographical Information[edit]
Grant Koch was a .203 career hitter in the minor leagues when he was called up to the 2024 Pirates. He benefited from injuries to Pirates catchers Jason Delay, Joey Bart and Yasmani Grandal plus the struggles of Henry Davis, as well as his close ties with Paul Skenes, who he would be catching in his debut.
