Giuseppe Spinelli is a catcher. He debuted in 2005 with T&A San Marino, going 11 for 40 with two doubles and seven walks. He moved to Telemarket Rimini in 2006 and was just 4 for 68 with nine walks and a double. In '07, he went 2 for 35 with two walks and a double starting a several-year run as the backup to Luis Ricardo Serafin De Camargo. Spinelli went 7 for 53 with three walks and three doubles in 2008 then hit .231/.286/.288 in 2009.

Through 2009, his career line was just .144/.224/.186 in 98 games. He had thrown out 14 opposing baserunners while allowing 34 steals.

Spinelli went 3 for 8 with two walks and two runs for Rimini in the 2010 European Cup's Rotterdam phase.
