Giuseppe Norrito reached AAA in the minor leagues.

He was 10-1 in junior college in 2002. He played in Italy's Serie A2 for Messina in 2002 with a 3.76 ERA. He had a 1.95 ERA for Messina in 2003 and also was with Nova Southeastern University. After a second year at Nova, the Los Angeles Dodgers chose him in the 48th round of the 2004 amateur draft.

Norrito tossed 4 1/3 shutout innings for the 2004 GCL Dodgers and saved one game. He was 2-1 with 3 saves and a 2.48 ERA for the '05 GCL Dodgers. In 2006, he pitched five games for the Ogden Raptors (1.17 ERA) and 13 for the Columbus Catfish (2-2, 3.55). He saw his first regular action in 2007 with the Jacksonville Suns, going 8-5 with a 4.13 ERA. He tied Justin Orenduff for the most wins on the Southern League's #2 team in terms of record. Norrito allowed a .285 average but walked only 26 in 117 2/3 IP.

He pitched for Italy in the 2007 European Championship, tossing a shutout inning against the Ukrainian national team but starting a horrid game against Spain; he allowed four runs in one inning. He finished with the highest ERA on the Italian squad.

Giuseppe moved to the Washington Nationals system in 2008 as a free agent. He was 7-2 with a 4.20 ERA for the Potomac Cannons and pitched one game for the Harrisburg Senators (3 R in 5 IP) and two for the AAA Columbus Clippers (8 H, 2 R in 3 1/3 IP).

His US career apparently over, Norrito signed with Italy's Bologna club to replace Cody Cillo. He went 4-1 with a save and a 4.04 ERA in 18 games in 2009.
