Biographical Information[edit]
Reginald Lampe played in the minors for five seasons.
Lampe was signed by Seattle Mariners scouts Karel Williams and Patrick Guerrero in November 2007. He hit .169/.279/.186 for the 2008 VSL Mariners then improved to .244/.324/.344 with the same club in 2009. In 2010, he batted .292/.384/.433 for the VSL Mariners. He was 2 for 17 with a walk, two runs and two RBI for the Aruban national team in the 2010 Pan American Games Qualifying Tournament. In 2011, he played for the VSL Mariners (.300/.417/.500, 31 RBI, 16 SB, 3 CS in 40 G) and AZL Mariners (.233/.263/.370 in 22 G). He tied for 7th in the Venezuelan Summer League in homers (6), would have tied for third in slugging and OPS had he qualified and tied Dilson Herrera for fifth in steals. As the regular first baseman for the Pulaski Mariners in 2012, he hit .224/.325/.300 to end his US career.
He signed with UVV in the Netherlands for the 2014 Hoofdklasse season. In the opener, he hit cleanup and played shortstop but went 0 for 4 and made an error; he had been primarily an outfielder and first baseman in the US.
