Gilberto Samayoa

Gilberto Samayoa was a member of the first Guatemalan national team ever assembled. In the 1930 Central American Games, he went 2 for 13 with a triple and two RBI. He fielded .928 at catcher, where he split time with Gabriel Murphy; he also saw action in right field, where he had one putout.
