Giancarlo Bianchi

Biographical Information[edit]
Giancarlo Bianchi was a long-time scorer in Italy, beginning in 1953. He helped compile the statistics for the computerized Italian baseball database at the Italian Baseball Federation website, with records dating back to 1960. He worked in the statistical committee for the 1978 Amateur World Series and in the European Championship. He was inducted into the Italian Baseball Hall of Fame in the initial class of 2005, the first scorer picked.
