Biographical Information[edit]
Gerry Craft played in the minors from 1974-1978, never advancing past class A. He managed the Boise Buckskins during their only season, 1978. Gerry worked for the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Club from 1980 to 1986 as an Area Scout. In the late 1980s, Gerry founded the first school for people wanting to become baseball scouts, the professional baseball scout school. Gerry was with the Houston Astros for 23 years, the last 18 as Eastern Regional Scouting Supervisor.
