Biographical Information[edit]

Gerald Rojas was a minor league pitcher, spending two years in the New York Yankees chain.

Rojas went 2-1 with a save and a 2.45 ERA for the 2008 DSL Yankees 1; with the same club in 2009, he fell to 0-3, 5.08 with a save and a .331 opponent average. He pitched for the Nicaraguan national team in the 2010 Intercontinental Cup, making one appearance. In a 8-0 loss to Japan, he replaced Oscar Chow for the final 1 2/3 IP, allowing two hits, a walk and a run.
