Biographical Information[edit]
George Shinn owned the NBA's Charlotte Hornets as well as the Gastonia Rangers and Charlotte Knights. He once had two of his NBA players, Dell Curry (a former draft pick in baseball) and Muggsy Bogues, play a game for Gastonia. He was sued with sexual harassment while owner of the Hornets and admitted to cheating on his wife.
