Biographical Information[edit]
George Riley pitched for the Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants, and Montreal Expos intermittently from 1979 to 1986. He compiled a record of 1-5. His one career win came as a starter for the Giants against the Los Angeles Dodgers on September 23, 1984. He pitched 8 1/3 innings giving up 11 hits, 2 earned runs, walked 1 and struck out 2. He had his only career hit on September 18th of that same year against Mike Madden of the Houston Astros.
He worked as an electrician for a Basement remodeling company
