Biographical Information[edit]
George Lees was born and died in Pennsylvania, and went to college at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania, but played in the majors with the Chicago White Sox.
Lees was at Lehigh from 1914-17, at the same time as Babe Twombly and Sam Fishburn.
In August 1920, the White Sox sent him to Nashville.
His brother John Lees was a pitcher for Lehigh and also the captain of the Lehigh basketball team in 1921.
