Georg Schwalm

Infielder Georg Schwalm played for the German national team on a couple occasions. In the 1965 European Championship, he was 2 for 12 with a double, walk, steal and a run, fielding .857 as Germany won the Bronze. He hit .294/.316/.471 with 4 runs and two RBI in four games in the 1967 European Championship, fielding .900 as Germany again got Bronze. He was third on the team in hits and tied for third in runs, trailing Claus Helmig and Roland Hoffmann in both categories.
