Biographical Information[edit]
In 1989, Gary Rajsich played with his brother Dave Rajsich for the St. Petersburg Pelicans of the Senior Professional Baseball Association. Gary hit .294 with 6 homers and 43 RBI for the club. In 1990, Rajsich again played with the Pelicans. He played in 18 games and batted .270 with 3 home runs and 8 RBI before the league folded.
After his playing career, Rajsich became a scout. He signed Jon Lester for the Boston Red Sox. He was working as a professional scout for the Toronto Blue Jays in 2011 when the Baltimore Orioles appointed him as their Director of amateur scouting.
Another brother, Tim Rajsich, was a minor league shortstop 1971-1972.
