Freeport is in western Pennsylvania about 20 miles northeast of Pittsburgh, PA. Red Bowser and Charlie Kuhns were born here. Freeport High School is located here.
The NAIA Area 8 tournament was held here in 1975 and 1978 and the NAIA District 18 tournament was held here every year from 1975 to 1981.
