Biographical Information

Freddie Bynum was drafted by the Oakland A's in the 2nd round of the 2000 draft. He was signed by scout Billy Owens and debuted that summer. Freddie saw action in four big league seasons, 2005 to 2008, batting .234/.275/.379 in 188 games (351 at bats). He played with the Orix Buffaloes in 2010, batting .138 in 16 games while doing his fair share of pinch running.
