Biographical Information[edit]
Fred Trautman played one game for the Newark Pepper in 1915. He pitched three innings, giving up two earned runs. Ed Reulbach pitched the first six innings, and the opposing 1915 Buffalo Blues had hitters in the lineup such as Hal Chase and Solly Hofman.
Fred was in pro ball during 1913-17, and during the remainder of the 1915 season he went 15-11 for the Hartford Senators. The previous year he had been 15-9 with the Appleton Papermakers.
Trautman was the brother of George Trautman.
