Fred Saigh Jr.
Fred Saigh and minority partner Robert Hannegan bought the St. Louis Cardinals after the 1947 season. Hannegan sold his share to Saigh in 1949. In 1953, Saigh was sentenced to prison for tax evasion. As a result, he sold the team to Anheuser-Busch.
