Biographical Information[edit]
Fred Lamline had cups of coffee with the Chicago White Sox in 1912 and the St. Louis Cardinals in 1915. He was a World War I Veteran (BN). He worked 23 years as an interviewer with the Michigan Employment Security Commission, retiring in 1959. He died at age 83 from an apparent heart attack while mowing his lawn and is buried at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery in Port Huron, MI.
