Franklin Delano Williams was the brother of Billy Williams. He played in the Pittsburgh Pirates chain from 1955-1958, collecting 10 triples in 1956. In 1957, he hit .296 with 16 home runs for the Grand Forks Chiefs and in 1958, he batted .309 between two stops. He was in the Negro Leagues from 1958-1960 with the Memphis Red Sox and Kansas City Monarchs. He returned to the minors in 1960 and pitched (4-5) in addition to his time in the outfield.
