Biographical Information

Frank Windegger was a college coach.

Windegger played baseball and football (quarterback) at Texas Christian and served in the Army. He was assistant baseball coach at TCU from 1959-1961 then was head coach from 1962-1975, winning Southwest Conference Coach of the Year in 1972. He coached Jeff Newman most notably. He was TCU's Athletic Director from 1975-1998. He was on the NCAA Baseball Committee from 1972-1974 along with many other committees.
