Biographical Information[edit]

First baseman Frank Saia played in the Milwaukee Braves system in 1959 and 1960, after being named an American Baseball Coaches Association All-American at first base in 1958, while at Harvard. He began his career with a .297 average between two teams, then hit .285 between two clubs his final campaign. While with the McCook Braves in 1959, he led the Nebraska State League in runs in with 63, despite playing just 62 games. He served in the National Guard and was a lawyer for over 30 years.
