Biographical Information[edit]

Frank Quinlan played two games for the Boston Reds in 1891. He also played a number of years in the minors in New England.

After his baseball career, he worked in a shoe factory. He died of heart failure at age 35.

"CATCHER QUINLAN. Manager Burnham, if you want to sign a good catcher write to Frank Quinlan, Marlboro (sic), Mass, and give him a trial. He Is playing wilh the Stonehams now, I believe. He is a fine player and would do well on the New Haven team. He is no lusher, either." - from Sporting Life's New Haven correspondent, in the August 1, 1891 issue, perhaps noticed by the 1891 Reds
