Biographical information[edit]
Infielder Frank Novosel played in the minor leagues from 1930 to 1935 with limited appearances while managing in 1946 and 1952-1953. In total, he played in nine different seasons, playing in 460 games. His minor league statistics are incomplete, however it is known he had at least 340 hits. In 1948, he was hired to be the head coach for Wake Forest College. He also served as a scout for the New York Yankees.
