Biographical Information

First baseman Frank Mediamolle spent five seasons in the minor leagues. Perhaps his best season was 1942, when he hit .247 with 117 hits in 126 games for the Waycross Bears. He also pitched in 1947, his final campaign, going 7-7 with a 2.00 ERA in 15 games. Pitching for the Houma Indians on June 6, he tossed a no-hitter against the Alexandria Aces.
