Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder/third baseman Frank Locke played in the minor leagues on-and-off from 1897 to 1911. His statistical record is incomplete, however it is known he had as many as 130 hits 24 doubles in a single season (1908 with the Newark Newks).
He was the third of three managers for the Lancaster Lanks in 1907, replacing Curt Elston. He was the second of three managers for the Parkersburg Parkers in 1910, replacning Louis Haidt and being replaced by Boyd Chambers. He replaced Jim Barton as the Hamilton Mechanics skipper partway through the 1911 campaign.
