Frank Knoll
Frank T. Knoll Jr.

- Died February 23, 2011 in Escondido, CA USA
Outfielder Frank Knoll played one season of minor league baseball in the Chicago Cubs organization. With the Americus Pioneers of the Georgia-Florida League in 1942, he hit .176 in 19 games.
After his season in baseball, Knoll enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. He later attended and played baseball at Illinois Wesleyan University. After school, he was a teacher for several years and was then a longtime employee of State Farm.
