Biographical Information

Frank Colon played at Stony Brook University from 1994-1997.

Colon originally signed with the Massachusetts Mad Dogs of the Northeast League. After being released, Colon played with two Frontier League teams later that summer - the Ohio Valley Redcoats and Kalamazoo Kodiaks.

Colon spent some time with the Thunder Bay Whiskey Jacks, also in the Northern League, in 1998 and with the Somerset Patriots of the Atlantic League in 1999. He hit .226/.325/.274 in 38 games as a pro, with a .990 fielding percentage at catcher.
