Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Frank Browning went 32-16 for the San Francisco Seals in 1909 and led the Pacific Coast League in wins. He won 16 consecutive games (a PCL record) from June 10 to August 12, including a no-hitter against the Sacramento Senators on July 5th. As a big leaguer, he made 11 appearances with the Detroit Tigers in 1910, with a 2-2 record and 2.57 ERA.
