Four Mile Run Park
Four Mile Run Park was located in Alexandria, VA near the small creek that marks the border between Alexandria and Arlington, VA. It was home to the Alexandria Dukes (1978, 1980-1983) and Alexandria Mariners (1979). Standing behind the then unused Cora Kelly Elementary School in Alexandria, VA, and on school district property, the baseball tenants could not serve alcohol. The park was not designed as a minor league baseball field and held 1,500 fans. Aside from a few dozen folding chairs which served as box seats, all seating was on metal stands as there was no permanent grandstand.
