HOLLYWOOD, FL, July 1, 2006 - Three Sailors from USS NASSAU (LHA 4), Sailor of the Year Interior Communications Specialist 1st Class Sollie Davis (left), Commanding Officer Capt. John Roberti (center), and Junior Sailor of the Year Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Michael Cassidy, throw out the first pitch before the Florida Marlins-Boston Red Sox baseball game at Dolphin Stadium, July 1, 2006. The Marlins hosted Military Appreciation night in support of the Armed Forces. NASSAU is one of 24 ships that comprise Commander, Amphibious Group TWO based at Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek, Virginia. COMPHIBGRU TWO, with its 16,000 Sailors and Marines, provides war fighting naval amphibious forces to operate with joint and combined forces for combatant commanders.
