Biographical Information[edit]

Federico Schultze has pitched for the Argentinian national team.

In the 2016 U-23 Baseball World Cup, he had a 12.27 ERA in three outings. [1] He was untouchable in the 2018 South American Championship, though, as Argentina won Gold for a spot in the 2019 Pan American Games. He pitched four hitless innings (one BB, six K) against Bolivia before Agustín Tanco completed the no-no. Against Chile, he pitched two hitless, walkless innings, fanning three more. He tied José Flores for the event lead in ERA and was 4th in strikeouts (behind Diego Echeverría, Igor Kimura and Pedro Soares). [2]
