Fausto Peña played for the Dominican national team in the 1991 Pan American Games. In the 1992 Olympics, he was 2 for 9 with four walks, a run and a RBI; he had 3 putouts while backing up Roque Solano in LF. Despite not being a starter, he tied for second on the club in walks.
