Biographical Information

Félix Fuentes has pitched in the Cuban Serie Nacional.

In 2006-2007, the teenager allowed 20 hits and 10 runs in 10 innings for the Matanzas Crocodiles. He did not appear again until 2010-2011, when he was 0-2 with a 7.34 ERA, .321 opponent average and 28 walks in 38 innings. He made big strides in 2011-2012 when the tall hurler was 2-5 with 9 saves and a 2.25 ERA for Matanzas, allowing a .217 average (though he still walked 30 in 48 innings). He tied for second in the league in appearances (42), 4 behind leader Yadir Rabi. He was then on Cuba's preliminary roster for the 2013 World Baseball Classic.
