Biographical Information[edit]
Eui-jun Sung played in the Korea Baseball Organization for 4 years.
Sung represented South Korea in the 2011 Baseball World Cup. All four of his appearances came as a pinch-hitter. He doubled off former major leaguer Darío Veras and came around to score, then was retired by Orlando Yntema, drew a walk from Pete Andrelczyk and was retired by Steve Kent. The Samsung Lions signed him after he went undrafted in the 2012 KBO draft, and he was 0-for-2 in 2012. He went 4-for-15 in 2013, then he missed the next two seasons due to military service. Sung hit .150/.261/.300 in 2016 after returning, and he mainly stayed in the minors in 2017. He only played 11 games with the big club, and he was released after that season.
Overall, Sung hit .163/.250/.279 with 7 hits in 4 seasons in the KBO
