Ethan Stein

In his junior year of college, Ethan Stein went 5-2 with one save and a 4.08 ERA. He was picked in the 12th round of the 1996 amateur draft by the Kansas City Royals. He began his career that season with the Spokane Indians and was 0-3 with a 6.34 ERA, allowing 60 baserunners in 38 1/3 innings. In '97, Stein moved up to the Lansing Lugnuts and was 6-10 with two saves and a 4.69 ERA. The big right-hander was 4-4 with six saves and a 3.71 ERA for the 1998 Wilmington Blue Rocks, moving fully to the bullpen. He walked only 13 in 76 1/3 IP. After a year off, Ethan completed his career with Wilmington in 2000, posting a 2-3, 2 Sv, 4.35 record. Overall, he was 12-20 in his professional baseball career.
