Biographical Information[edit]
Esteban Reyes pitched in the Mexican League. The first season for which Mexican League stats are available was 1937, when he was 11-2, 1.85 for the Tigres de Comintra. He tied Basilio Rosell for the LMB lead in wins and was second to Martin Dihigo in ERA. He was on the Mexican national team for the 1938 Central American and Caribbean Games; the team drew criticism from Cuba for its use of pros. He fell to 1-11, 6.62 for Comintra that summer. He was second to Emilio Sarda in losses. He was 1-4, 4.90 for Comintra in 1939, his final season.
