Biographical Information

Outfielder Erskine Kelley was selected by the New York Mets in the 47th round of the 1989 amateur draft but did not sign. After attending the University of Richmond, he was then taken by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 36th round of the 1992 amateur draft. He played several seasons in their organization and part of one year in the Chicago Cubs chain before ending his career with three summers in the independent leagues.

Kelley is the cousin of Marcus Stroman.
