Biographical Information[edit]
Ernie Sulik had over 400 at-bats in his only season in the majors with the Philadelphia Phillies in 1936.
Prior to coming to the majors he was a star with the San Francisco Seals, hitting .313 in the year in which Joe DiMaggio first played with them. He finished his playing career helping Quebec City to the 1939 championship of the outlaw Quebec Provincial League.
