Biographical Information[edit]
Ernie Novack pitched in the minor leagues from 1949 to 1951 and in 1953. He was 3-3 with a 3.34 mark in 15 games for the Lumberton Auctioneers in 1949, then went 10-9 with a 4.03 ERA between the Whiteville Tobs (7-7. 2.85) and Rutherford County Owls (3-2, 7.04) in 1950. In 1951, he was 7-4 with a 3.32 ERA for the Elizabeth City Albemarles. With the Mooresville Moors in 1953, he was 5-5 with a 5.22 ERA.
He served in the Korean War.
