Biographical Information

Erlin Cerda played in the Cleveland Indians minor league system from 2013-2018. In his final season he spent most of the year with the High-A Lynchburg Hillcats, the highest he rose in the organization. Overall, Cerda hit .252/.340/.356 while playing in 274 games. Most of his defensive work came at 2nd & 3rd base.

In 2022 Cerda returned to the what was now the Cleveland Guardians organization as an infield coach for the DSL Guardians Red. He moved up to the ACL Guardians in 2023 as a bench coach. Cerda received another promotion in 2024 to bench coach of the now Low-A Hillcats where he continued in 2025.
