Biographical Information[edit]

Erik Cordier was drafted by Phil Huttmann and the Kansas City Royals in the 2nd round of the 2004 amateur draft, signing for a $575,000 bonus. Ten years later, after time in the Kansas City, Atlanta, Pittsburgh and San Francisco organizations, he made his big league debut, pitching fifteen times with the Giants over 2014 and 2015, recording a 4.42 ERA in 18 1/3 innings. He later pitched for the Orix Buffaloes, going 0-2 with a 7.30 ERA in the Pacific League in 2016.
