Erik-Jan Lind has pitched in the Hoofdklasse

In 2006, Lind had a 2-3, 2.65 record for the Hoofddorp Pioniers as a 33-year-old rookie. He was 10th in the 2006 Hoofdklasse in ERA, between Jan Naterop and Patrick de Lange. He pitched in four of the five games of the 2006 Holland Series, winning game three but losing game four. He wound up 1-1 with a 4.35 ERA as the Pioniers fell to Corendon Kinheim.

In 2007, the right-hander was 1-0 with a save and a 2.15 ERA. In 41 1/3 innings, he walked 25 while striking out only 19 but gave up just 31 hits. He allowed eight baserunners and three runs in 3 1/3 innings in the 2007 Holland Series as the Hoofddorp club again was no match for Kinheim.

Lind did not play in the Hoofdklasse in 2008 or 2009.
