Biographical Information

The Los Angeles Angels signed Erick Salcedo as an undrafted free agent from Venezuela. He spent his first three seasons playing for the DSL Angels before moving stateside in 2013. Salcedo played in the Angels system from 2010-2015 before moving to the Baltimore Orioles organization from 2016-2018. He returned to the Angels in 2019. Defensively Salcedo played shortstop most of the time. He reached AAA for short stints in both 2015 and 2019. Overall Salcedo hit .242 in ten minor league seasons with an OPS of .613. Salcedo finished in playing career with the Bravos de Margarita of the Venezuelan League during the 2020/2021 season.

In 2021 Salcedo joined the coaching ranks as a coach for the ACL Angels.
