Biographical Information[edit]
Erick Julio joined the Colorado Rockies minor league system in 2014 with the DSL Rockies and remained with the Rockies through the 2019 season. After a lost year to COVID-19 in 2020, Julio finished his playing career in the Los Angeles Angels organization, after they had taken him in the minor league portion of the 2019 Rule V Draft. Julio reached High A in both 2019 and 2021. Overall he had a record of 17-31 with two saves and an ERA of 4.50.
In 2022 the Minnesota Twins hired Julio as a third pitching coach for the FCL Twins. He was pitching coach of the DSL Twins in 2023-2024.
