Biographical Information

Pitcher Eric Ruth began his professional career in 2013 after being signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Yankees. He had posted a 0.43 ERA in 26 relief appearances his final year at Winthrop University, striking out 55 in 41 2/3 innings. In his first professional season, he had a 0.61 mark and a 13.5 K/9 IP ratio in 18 games. In 2014, he reached Triple A for the first time. In 2015, he transitioned to the rotation, winning 10 games his first season as a starter and earning a Mid-Season All-Star selection.
