- Born December 27, 1952
Biographical Information[edit]
Eric Kenis caught for the Belgian national team in the 1978 Amateur World Series. He was 0 for 11 with a walk and a RBI, while splitting backstop duties with Marc Janssen; oddly, third-stringer Leon Feringa had as many hits (2) in 3 at-bats as Kenis and Janssen had in 20. He was one of only three Belgians to drive in a run over their ten games, along with Erik de Clerck and Frank Hardies. Kenis fielded .875 and allowed 15 steals in 16 tries.
