Biographical Information

After graduating from Green Valley High School, second baseman Eric Durante attended Yavapai Community College and Kansas State University. He was later signed by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and made his pro debut with the Hudson Valley Renegades in 2005, hitting .251/.322/.364. Overall, he spent two years in the Devil Rays organization. In his second year, he played for the Renegades (.183/.280/.256 in 22 G) and the Southwest Michigan Devil Rays (.208/.321/.313 in 35 G).
