Biographical Information[edit]
Epp Sell has one of the major leagues' shortest names. Only Eppa Rixey and Eppie Barnes have a similar first name, and the closest last name is that of Dave Sells.
Epp pitched much of his minor league career at Syracuse, and came to the majors with the 1922 and 1923 St. Louis Cardinals for 12 games. He started half of his games, and had a winning record of 4-3.
