Biographical Information[edit]

Catcher Enid Drake played in the minor leagues from 1949 to 1956, reaching A ball in 1953 with the Savannah Indians. Savannah integrated the South Atlantic League that season with Hank Aaron, Felix Mantilla and Horace Garner. He managed the Thomson Orioles from June 1, 1956 to the end of the season, then managed the Kingsport Orioles in 1957.
